Unable to connect to others in multiplayer

Being unable to connect to others or others are unable to connect to you can be caused by quite a few different things. We advise players to check the following list which will solve 95% of cases

• Make sure you are both on the same game version (Main branch or unstable)
• Make sure both of you have allowed the game through the windows firewall if active (A pop up appears the first time someone tries to connect to your game)
• Remove Ranch Sim from the Firewall entirely. When next trying to connect you should be prompted to add it again
• Make sure the game is also allowed through any other firewalls or anti-virus programs you may have.
• Try turning any firewalls off and on again
• Start a new game, have everyone connect. Load up your other save, try connecting again
• Double check clock settings on the pc and make sure these are set to automatic and synced\

If the above fails then do the following

Press the Windows Key + S on your keyboard to open the windows search area
Type in CMD, this should bring up the Command Prompt as a recommended app
Right click on this and select "Run as administrator"
Once the Command prompt is open, type in the following commands precisely, one after the other once the previous command has completed

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

- after that has done, enter the following:

sfc /scannow

- after that has done, enter the following:

chkdsk /f /r
