Corrupted files preventing the game from launching

Corrupted files can also cause various issues such as the game not loading, save files not loading, or general crashing issues.

Here are some possible solutions for this issue

Delete config files

• Press the windows key and R together to open the run command
• type in %appdata%/../local/Ranch_Simulator/Saved/ and press ok
• Locate and remove the config folder from the Ranch Sim save location

Turn off cloud saves and delete savehints / character files

• Open steam and right click on Ranch Simulator in the library
• go to properties and then in the general tab make sure "Keep game saves in the Steam Cloud for Ranch Simulator" is turned off
• Once you have done this, can you go to the save game area and make sure the follow 2 items are deleted

The save data for the game is located in AppData\Local\Ranch_Simulator\Saved\SaveGames

You can get to this location easily by doing the following

• Press the windows key and R together to open the run command
• Type in %appdata%/../local/Ranch_Simulator/Saved/SaveGames and press ok

Remove all save files

Remove all the save files from the save location, this can be done by following the instructions above but removing everything rather than select files

Verify or reinstall the game

If none of the above work, try to reinstalling or verify the game files
